Stamp on old Camp
Stove

This is a bit of an unusual posting. I sometimes pickup old camping gear and restore it. Recently, I purchased an old 3-burner Coleman Stove. Happy birthday to my good friend and colleague, Art Hanby. You greatly missed.

Mr. Hanby was loved by many of his co-workers. He was always very respectful and an excellent teacher. I will always remember him. My deepest condolences to his dear family.

Not only was a leader for us in the finance division at SDUSD, Art was a true support to me personally after my daughter passed away suddenly in 2009.
He cared and spoke to me with compassion and sympathy that helped me lift up my head again. Paula Hall

Art was a great guy! I worked with him for the past 7 years at SDUSD. He was just so pleasant, thoughtful, and kind. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. I pray for your strength. I know it will be hard to go forward without Art, as I'm sure he was a beacon. What a great loss. Hugs, love and prayers, Venus Matos

I really enjoyed meeting Art over at Cardinal Lane. I needed to learn how to pay invoices for the nursing dept and Art was my teacher!! What an easy-going,down to earth man he was! His instruction was clear and precise. Since then, we always spoke when passing by, and he was always pleasant and friendly. I have always thought highly of him. I will miss his gentle nature and easy smile. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Barbara Ash

To the Hanby family: I am so sorry to hear the news of Art's passing in December. My husband, Clark, was Art's cousin. I had the opportunity to meet Art in 2011, at a Vaughn family reunion here in Navarre, FL, when my husband was ill.
My condolences to all of the family - I pray that God will be with you in your time of grief, and will comfort and console you. From Melinda Vaughn
