My first job as a secretary on the Sheriff's Department, was working with Art (Sgt. Hauer). Yes, he was indeed a nice, kind, and caring man. He was always soft spoken, and knew his job well in the Fraud Unit. I saw Mr. and Mrs. Hauer recently at Parkway Plaza Mall...and, Art looked just as I remembered him years ago. I am sorry for your loss, but someone like Sgt. Hauer is sure to have a place in Heaven.
