The greatest legacy we can leave our children and family is Happy Memories! Arthur, I am positive you did just that and more. I'm so glad of this opportunity to begin the journey of learning the family roots of my Great Grandmother Mattie Bell Hawk.

I will always miss you because i have such wonderful memories.

I miss you, Granddad!!! I remember when I was a little girl and we used to always sit under the tree in the front yard of your white house. You used to always sit and watch Quincy and me playing outside too. I remember the after school beanie-weenies you would make for us, you taking us to school when we missed the bus, the trips to the county fair and so forth. I remember it all. Throwback memories.
