Dr. Herbst gave me my start in pharmacoepidemiology. I learned so much working with him on DES and have put those lessons into practice. I will be ever appreciative. My please accept my sincere condolences

I did not know Dr. Herbst, but it is evident to me that he supported a legacy of tremendous dedication to improving societal health. I find his story inspirational to pursue that goal.
