My folks were close friends with Art's parents. We spent many 4th of July celebrations at their American Lake home. My two brothers were just a few years younger than Art. I was just a little guy sitting the back of that wonderful Cris-Craft while they had fun. Art was a neat guy. I will look forward to seeing him again in Heaven! Chuck

My condolences to Art´s family. He was a kind and caring member of the Steilacoom community. He demonstrated this through his long time support of the Steilacoom Historical Education Foundation (SHEF) through its scholarship program. I got to know Art during my time on the board. He always enjoyed meeting and interacting with the scholarship recipients at our annual reception. His generosity touched many lives.
