So sorry to see "Dr. Jim" passed. I was just a customer to his clinic. He was my sons' pediatrician at Pediatric Associates. Was so sad when he moved because he was a "teaching doctor". His knowledge of children's health was amazingly helpful. As a working single parent, he was able to tell me how he and his wife "Ginger" would handle their "sicklings" and how to get through the dreaded ear infections. Dr. Hirschfeld is remembered lovingly by the staff at EMMC Pediatrics. His deep love for children shone brightly. He was instrumental in building the Pediatric inpatient program to be a beautiful place for healing. I was sad when he left us to go to Utah, but he left us with great memories. He was very much loved. ❤
