Interesting -- just yesterday Clark Trask & I were discussing how Art improved the health of our Beaufort community. He was a marvelous physician and individual. He has not been forgotten. John Fontana

Dr. Jenkins was our childhood physician. We always loved and adored him. He was very quiet and took great care of our health needs. Our parents, Alex Buster and Victoria Simmons also loved Dr. Jenkins. He was a great earthly physician, who is now resting with his Master Physician! Keeping the Jenkins family in our thoughts and prayers. May God's continued blessings shine upon each of you.

Art Jenkins welcomed me to Beaufort in 1975 in his quiet and genuine way. Art always tried to improve medical care in Beaufort but never expected or desired recognition. I remember one night taking the barge over to Spring Island with Art to speak with Mrs. Lucille Walker. Art had paved the way for a donation from the Weezie Foundation of an ultrasound machine for the obstetrical service at BMH. This would be the first ultrasound machine in the hospital. We procured the ultrasound and Art's...

My doctors and family since 1963. Delivered both my son's..what wonderful memories about him...so sorry for your loss but you cab be proud of him...sure he will be missed but a wonderful sweet. Man. And wonderful doctors.
