Arthur G. Jones

Mr. Jones.... A great coach but more importantly a great guy to look up to. For me and many other young kids that grew up and played sports in West Utica, he will be missed but never forgotten.

I met Art in the Army Reserves in the early 1980's. He was a very personable, intelligent man with a positive attitude. Although I haven't seen Art in many years, I still have fond memories of him. My condolences to the Jones family but rest assured he is looking down on us.

Mr Jones (aka COACH), I only wish that more children had a DAD like you. You taught us (your extended family) valuable lifelong lessons that we carry with us to this day. I know, your legacy lives on not only through your children but through the countless kids you coached along the way and loved like your own and we knew it! . It was both a privilege and honor to know you and your wonderful family throughout the years. Please continue to watch over us. God bless you...

Art was my boyhood Little League coach over 50 years ago. He had a professionalism about him and made us all feel like were in the major leagues, as we learned to love the game. Such a positive, formative experience. My condolences to Tim and the family.

Art Jones is a man who knew how to make you feel like he knew you for ever, he was always a joy to see. Theresa and I always enjoyed talking with him. Our condolences to the Jones family, he will be missed.
