Not sure what to say?

Art was a big supporter of the Henderson County Fair Queens. The Queens loved every minute they spent with him and enjoyed the little photo albums he created for them. He was, and is, an amazing man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family in their time of mourning.

So sorry for your loss Art will be missed by many with his soft spoken ways and kind heart. Sorry we could not come to the visitation, but were concerned about the weather.

We are sad to lose our family genealogist. Art always knew us no matter how many years past. Our condolences.

We would have liked to have come. We were ready to leave and saw the radar. We felt we shouldn't chance the roads being slick. Our condolences for a man who knew and loved the family like no other! He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May God strengthen you and give you peace during this difficult time. Psalms 29:11

I refer to Art fondly as Mr. Henderson County! He knew more about our county, knew more people in our county and worked hard to perpetuate and improve our county than anyone I know. Also he did not only "talk the talk," but "walked the walk" of a Christian!! He will be an awesome angel. God bless and comfort his family!!

Our prayers and thought go out to Arts family. He was the kindest man, a gentlemen always, he will be missed but not forgotten.

It is impossible to know the amount of lives that Art has touched. I am sorry for your loss

My deepest sympathy to the entire family,,,we've lost one of the best....I recall on a tour of Ireland with Art along...we pulled the bus into a small town, for a break...Art went walking down the street....seems he saw a sign in a window while passing thru (what an eagle eye) of a motel I believe it was----the Roseville Motel....he walked back and bought a few. Art has now joined cousins Ed, Bill, Fred, and I know others in the family born in 1945....May they all, and especially today, ...
