Not sure what to say?

It has been so many years since you left. I wonder what your feelings about EMS would be today. I would love to sit and talk to you one more time. Watch over us Rescue 10 and know I will never forget you as long as I am still on this earth. I pray your family are all well. I know they miss you. I miss not working in Fulton and stopping by Arlington for a chat and visit. Miss you Judge.

A belated condolence to the family of the late Honorable Judge Arthur Kaplan: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your beloved Hero! Having met him while working as a licensed P.I. and recent Woodrow Wilson College of Law graduate, we immediately made friends and shared stories and mutual admiration and respect As so many others have expressed, my life, was so greatly enriched by having known Judge "Artie" Kaplan. May you forever Requiescat in Pace! Your friend, Gina...

We lost a great man the day we lost you. I will forever cherish the days I got to spend with you and your family Miss you big Rescue 10!

I just read an article about this amazing person in an article "Dan Conway´s Corner in the January 28, 2022 edition of the Ireland´s Own. I never met him but I would like to add my appreciation that such an individual did so much good in this life.

i am greatly saddened to just learn of judge kaplans passing in january. i got to know the judge while working as a nurse in the old mec/sec at grady and as a medic on the grady ems. i testified in front of the judge as a witness on a number of occasions and had the honor of his officiating at my wedding. he was a stand up guy and will be missed. fair winds and a following sea.

I truly enjoyed the conversations we had when we had offices in the same building in Midtown, and he really looked great when he wore his white cowboy hat. His memory will always bring a warm smile to those who knew him.
S. George Handelsman (Atlanta)

I used to work for Judge Kaplan and was his secretary for approximately one year. He was an attorney in the office building where I worked before obtaining employment with him and we always passed each other in the hall and on the elevator. One of the dearest, most sincere people I have ever had the priviledge to know. He will truly be missed by many many people. His dedication to detail and his kind and caring heart made him one of the most respected individuals EVER!

Judge Kaplan,
I truely enjoyed the 911 runs we had on the mean streets of Atlanta during the 1980s. It was always a pleasure to see you there and I could always count on another helping hand.
You will be missed, by your family and your extended EMS/Fire/Police family.
May you be in peace.

Judge Kaplan also taught first aid to Atlanta skiers in the 60s and 70s when the sport was starting to grow. We learned many things in his classes, including how to respect and admire this incredible person. He was a great blessing to our community. Who can guess how many thousands of lives he saved directly and indirectly.
