In December 2011, my brother,Rutherford Robbins Romaine, who went to school with Art, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Art and his wonderfully kind wife invited my brother and his wife to San Francisco where he opened up an opportunity for Rob to be seen by a top-tier cancer treatment specialist. That was Art´s kindness. Art visited while I was there one day, and as Robb and Art both sang in the SOB´s we sang in harmony, while Rob glowed with appreciation - old 60s songs. It´s a memory I...

I did not know Art for long however his passion for life and everything he embraced touched me. I am grateful to have known him. I have you all in my thoughts and prayers.
