Not sure what to say?

Kathleen and family:
I do not remember meeting Art's family except one time I think one of his son's came to the transplant group meeting, that is how my husband and I met Art. We were so glad when he received his new lung transplant. My husband was waiting for a liver transplant and did not make it through the surgery. I did talk with Art once since then but now I do not attend those meetings they are just to emtional for myself. I was very sorry to read in the paper about Art...

Kathleen, Dick, Marcia, Marlene and Hilda,
Although I have not met Kathleen, my heart goes out to all of you. I am still feeling the loss of my father, so I know somewhat what you are feeling. I remember all the times I shared with Art while we were growing up. We had not spoken in many years but he was still in my thoughts. I know he is in the arms of God and can see again his parents and grandparents we were so fond of.

God bless you all.
Your cousin, Char (Conner) Bonar

Dear Kathleen:
I've never met you, but feel like I've known you for a long time from all the lunch-time conversations I had with Art at Steelcase. I met Art in the summer of 1998 at the distribution center at Steelcase and will never forget my first day at that plant. Art walked up to me, stuck out his hand and said, "I'm Art Kookier, what's your name and what's your story ?" From that day our friendship started.
The quality and goodness of an individual are easily recognized...
