Not sure what to say?

A LONG TIME OF MY DADS AND ALSO A FRIEND OF MINE.HE WILL SURELY BE MISSED.

Doc was always so generous with his time ensuring that the next generations learned how to fish... William and Doc 2012

Doc was one fantastic gentleman, and he represented all that Clemson is and will be. Doc and I had some great times at Clemson and I have missed our communication these last few years. I was one of those Tigers on the '48 Gator Bowl team. Doc, you were one great manager. Your family will sustain one another by remembering all the great memories they have. Martha, and family, no one else can truly feel the loss of Doc, but may it help somehow today to know others care. Hope it will...

Single Memorial Tree

This kind, gentle and inspirational man made our community a better place. My Mom and Dad worked closely with him to build their retirement home and neighborhood in Wachesaw Plantation. He was instrumental in not only building a future for them but to preserve the history of our beautiful community for generations to come. .....Until we meet again.

We were saddened to hear about our dear friend "Doc", but we were honored to know him. We will miss him, but he is with Jesus now.

I send love, prayers, and sympathy to Martha and their family. Have known Doc since I was a small child living at Woodville Plantation and a neighbor nextdoor to The Hammock Shop. He was a good man from an outstanding Pawley's family and married a wonderful Martha. He will be greatly missed. Peggy

Hard to lose our amazing Doc who will be so missed at our Wilson Durant reunions. He was the patriarch. I send love to my cousins and to Martha Louise. I´m sure Doc and my father Julian are telling stories nonstop in Heaven!

Doc was one of a kind and we always felt welcomed by him and Martha.
