I only knew Art for the last 4 years. In that short time I was lucky to have met one of the kindest and most generous men I've ever known. He was always either looking out for someone else or telling me stories about the Days gone by. His love for Fran was another of his favorite topics. For someone I knew for such a short time he will be greatly missed.

I saw the obituary in the paper this week. I saw he was from Olathe Ks. I grew up in Olathe too. So I may have known him or his family. He is 11years older then me. It was a small town back then and the population was not a lot. There was one High school, one Jr. High school and maybe 4 grade schools. We were called town kids or country kids. All the kids were at our one local swimming pool or the roller skating rink or our small downtown movie theater or the Library really we did...
