Arthur Lingle

Art Lingle was the kind friend who prepared my income taxes for me when I was but an Assistant Professor in Physical Education at KU during the 1970s and 1980s and was earning a bare minimum salary. Dianne joined the secretarial staff for the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Department in the 1970s in Robinson Gymnasium and she became good friends with me. While I consider myself a friend of Art's, I did work for him as a Student Assistant in the KUAC Business Office. In addition to my work in the Business office for Art and Susan Wachter, I also worked in other years of my undergrad days in Sports Information for Don Baker, Sid Wilson and Bill Newsome.
