Not sure what to say?

Artie changed my life when he sold me his Loka Cat over 30 yr ago - thanks to a kind and interesting man. I'll picture him on his old Drascombe, or with his buddies Erwin W, Art W, Jack C and Al P, talking boats and tinkering... Sail on sir.

Artie, you will be truly missed. It was 36 years ago when you came into our lives the day we moved in next door and those five short years we lived there made a lifetime friendship. The airstream camping trips, Sarasota, Florida timeshare vacations, sailing & dinner at the Canandaigua Yacht Club, the weekends at the lake house & visits to 1400 to spend time with parent's are all memorable times and though we moved our life is full of beautiful memories that will be treasured in our hearts...

We have lost a very special friend and pray you have fair winds and sunny skies til we meet again Dear love Bets aka Puddleduck

A great human being...and friend. A Renaissance man like his father. Good sailing, Artie! Joe Briggs

Bill, It was my lucky day when I met you and many of your family and friends through Sidney Kane. Your birthday parties were always great fun and showed what kind of friend you were. I shall miss you always.

Andy Goldman

I only knew Arthur through conversations we had for many years ordering his "My Grandma's CoffeeCakes Of New England" holiday cakes. He was a pleasure to speak too and he will be missed.

An amazing walking fund of knowledge as well as life experiences stretching almost a century and a true friend.

He was a great guy and a fixture at CYC. He will be missed by everyone there.

ART,
A special family friend. A gift to the community. A caring neighbor. What a guy!! How lucky we are to have known you.. Rest in peace..
