Not sure what to say?

Lots of great memories: family reunions in Northampton (especially the one with all the brothers and sisters in the famous photo, circa 1969), watching Art, Richie and my dad giving each other 30 foot putts at HCC, then French fries and beer, and my personal favorite, visiting Uncle Art at his "Civil Defense office" at Boyden Gym while I was at Umass in the mid-70's. I still can't figure out how he and his buddies were going to defend us from the basement of an athletic facility, but it was...

Shirley and family, We are saddened to hear of your loss. Art's wonderful spirit will live on in the many stories to be shared. Enjoy your time together as a family, celebrating a life well-lived. You are in our thoughts!

Another great person to come from Holyoke,Uncle Art had that quick witted sence of Irish humer that only a Mackey can deliver. He will be missed... Love and sympathy to all at this time of remberance.Brian

I will always cherish the memories I have of you and Mrs. Mackey. Going to your home in Northampton or the two of you visiting with my mom & dad also known as Jack and Dottie. may you R.I.P. Mr. Mackey Love you very much !!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Rest in Peace Uncle Art.

I will always remember your dry wit and your love of family. His service to this country during WWII, to the state of Massachusetts with the Civil Defense and to the Church - along with his love of his family is a testament to his life.

Love and prayers to Aunt Shirley and the family.

I will miss conversations with Art while picking up Shirley or the many nights that he picked her up at ceramics. Always a topic was the Red Sox. Thoughts are with you all
