ARTHUR LEWIS MARGOLIS

I went to work as an investigator for the California State Bar not long after Art had left his employment with the State Bar. I knew him as a professional defense attorney. He was a great adversary in the disciplinary system. He & his professional representation will forever be missed.

Arthur was the smartest, funniest, kindest person I have ever known.

I worked in the same offices as Arthur. He had a great sense of humor. I loved him and loved talking with him. Underneath that tuff shell was the sweetest man you could ever imagine. He was the greatest. Whether you agreed with him or debated him, he was "all in" in whatever subject came up. I am deeply saddened by his passing; he was one of the funniest people I have ever met. Godspeed my friend, I know you are out there exploring the galaxies. I will think of you everytime I raise my head...

I am a dear friend/sister of Arthur´s sister Faye Margolis. I´m sad to hear of Arthur´s passing. May his family and friends feel some comfort and peace as they embrace the extraordinary life Arthur lived here on earth. Sending love, light and peace to all his family members and friends.

I was fortunate to have worked with Art, having opposed him on several State Bar discipline matters. He was truly one of a kind. He will be missed.

Arthur was a real gentleman and an ethical, competent attorney. He exemplified the best of our legal profession.
