Arthur H. Martin

"Mr. Martin" was my 8th grade teacher at Irvington Grade School--and my favorite teacher. He was opinionated, enthusiastic and stimulating in everything that he did and was a fun and encouraging mentor to all 30+ of us. He loved the Air Force and could talk at length about his experiences in it both when he was on active duty and long after he retired. When I last saw him at the Irvington breakout group during our 50th Grant HS Reunion, his voice was strong and he was as alert as ever. ...

You were a great principle to is kids at Kenton School and I'm glad we got to reconnect. It was an honor to be a part of your care team the last few years. I'll never forget our conversations. May you rest in peace Mr Martin. I'll miss you.
