Dear Mrs. McDevitt and Family,
I worked with Art for several years at Petrosurance Casualty Co. He was always available and willing to share his knowledge. In our conversations, I came to understand how very proud he was of his family. Art was a friend and I will miss him. I am so sorry for your loss. Art was a good man.

Dear Marian, Chris and all the McDevitt family, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Although we never met, I always got the greatest joy out of Art's wonderful emails about growing up in West Roxbury, his many travel adventures and love of cruising. He was always so proud of his beautiful family. I will miss our email chats very much and only wish I had had the pleasure of meeting him in person. He's smiling down on all of you.
Sincerely, Nancy Marks

Dear Marian,
I attended St. Theresa's grammar school, Catholic Memorial High School and Troop 5 Boy Scouts with Art. (Unlike Art, I never came close to making Eagle Scout). My wife and I sat with you and Art at the CM 50th Anniversary Celebration for a very enjoyable evening with much talk of traveling and old times. Speaking for myself and for Art's CM classmates of 1965, please accept condolences for your loss. Art was a great guy!!

Uncle Arthur, sitting and talking with you about history and travel, seeing you have fun at weddings, remembering how you and your family let me visit you all when I was 12 for a week in N.J., all meant so much to me. Thank you for being a model to everyone on how to live life to the fullest and more often than not letting us join you while you did.
Both Chuck and I will pray for you and your family. I know you are smiling down upon all of us.
Love, Colleen and Chuck
