Not sure what to say?

It seems like yesterday that Arthur and I were fishing together on Lake Gananoque, discussing whether to convert the Brook Tavern to a steak house. The rest is history. Rest in peace Arthur.

To never be forgotten a man on a mission with great vision in giving only the best in his establishments to serve the public. The sign he had over the kitchen door in Arthurs gave testament to his craft that he would serve only grade A . It has been a long time since Arthurs passing, but who can forget greatness. My wife and I still go to Arthurs when we are back from Florida and to us is still the best. To Arthurs family our most sincerest condolences will go on .

Wm. And Arlene...

Dear Alyce,
I just now heard of Arthur's passing. Really enjoyed knowing your father and have many good memories of his trips to Boston College, and the Cape. As well as our trips to New Jersey. I learned a lot from your father and always enjoyed seeing him. - Gil Dailey

Dear Alyce & family,
Condolences on your Dad's death. My Dad, Patrick Carroll, greatly admired Arthur & had always enjoyed the great laughs they had together.

So sorry to hear that Arthur has passed away. I met him in 1963 when I had my wedding at Llewellyn Farms. He was so nice to me and my family. God Bless

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Arthur and the time I worked for him in Sparta. He was a good man.

Alyce, Madeline and I are very sorry to learn about Arthur. We had enjoyed many times together fishing in Canada and at the Chaine des Rotisseurs, to which he graciously sponsored us. Our last dinner with him at the St Moritz was enjoyable for both him and us. He was in great spirits that evening not so very long ago. Our recent discussion at Morris Plains and its commitments are still open. Albeit we are in Florida, you can reach us there.

Alyce, Knowing this was expected, does not make it one bit easier. So many positives came out of dad's illness, that I am sure you do not even realize. You became a stronger woman who learned so much about this debilitating disease. We became so close and that will never change. Your devotion to dad was beyond any expectations. Arthur knew you had to go and be at your daughter's wedding while he looks down from above. If I can somehow "try" to put a smile on your face, it's my one...

Dear Alice, I am sorry for your loss. MY thoughts and prayers are with you. I recently lost my dad and a friend sent these words that I thought were meaningful- Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
