Carol and Arthur befriended a homesick Welshman posted to RAF Carlisle in 1985, Squadron Leader Brian Edwards. They made my tour there memorable and enjoyable. So sad to find Arthur had passed. My sincerest condolences to Carol.

Arty will be missed by us all, we have very fond memories of Arty and he was a very special person in our lives. His humour and wit especially when he joined us in 'the bin' for Burns nights will always remain in our minds, the jimmy hats and false teeth!! Our thoughts are with Carol Love always Gregg, Amy, & girls. xx
