Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man, husband and father. I grew up in a neighborhood where Art was highly respected and liked. Feared sometimes too :) He was a wonderful coach who took the time to help a lot of young people. He and Cornelia were very special to all of us.

Sending you all so much Love - what an incredible life and incredible legacy - with prayers, Michèle Bacus and Family xox

So sorry to hear of Artie's passing. He was a dear friend and classmate of my Dad's (Tom Raleigh) and I loved hearing stories of their antics at Andover. On my trips to Naples to visit my Mom we would always make sure to walk the beach and find your Dad and chat.
He will be missed by so many ...
Love to all of you.
Nancy Raleigh Van Siclen

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

When your parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Bermuda with you all, I was their travel agent. Would see your dad a lot over the years, Captain Marden's, Roche Brothers and the pool at Wellesley Green where I would be a guest of a resident. We always chatted and he would tell me what you were all doing and about Florida and Drake's Island. I always enjoyed talking to him and admired his dapperness. And, he was never without a tan. I will miss him. Wish you peace at this...

Lenny and Artie, Consider me a voice from the Notre Dame side wishing comfort to your entire family. I suspect the service will celebrate a life very well lived. I remember your father visiting at Notre Dame and my sense is that while he was officially a Yale man, he was certainly a Notre Dame man too. He leaves an obvious legacy. God Bless

Our prayers are with all the family Artie and I enjoyed many good times together both at Andover and many reunions

What a guy, and what a zestful and joyous life! He loved God,country, family and Notre Dame.

His life was marked by affability, kindness, a love of liberty and Christian voluntary charity towards all. We enjoyed his trips to see his kids at ND and St. Mary's College for hockey and football games.

We chatted about his baseball days at Yale with President Bush #41, their appearance in the college World Series, and Art's days in the MLB minor league system. And who can forget Art...
