Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home - Nappanee Obituary

Arthur D. Moser, 85, of Wakarusa died peacefully at his residence, at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 20, 2021.  He was born February 5, 1936 in Bremen to Ralph  and Mildred (Walterhouse) Moser.

In 1955 he graduated from Madison Township High School.   After graduation he enlisted into the US Army.  After honorable discharge, he left the family farm to pursue a career in the construction industry.  On June 26, 1960, Arthur married the love of his life since the 4th grade at Madison School, Carolyn L. Severns, at St. Johns Church in Woodland.  Mr. Moser had a successful career in the building industry.  He also gave back to the local community thru Penn High School Building Trades.   He served as the local HBA President in 1981, was a board member of Habitat for Humanity, a big supporter and board member of Camp Ray Bird.  His love for his family was only surpassed by his love for his Lord.  Arthur was an active member of Community Gospel Church in Bremen, serving multiple terms as a Deacon.  He was involved on mission trips building projects and served as usher for many years until the time he became ill.  He personally supported several foreign missionaries to further the gospel world wide.  Arthur loved supporting his grandchildren in all of their many activities and teaching them his love of woodworking methods in his state of the art shop.  He also enjoyed playing euchre with family and friends.

Mr. Moser is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Jeffrey L. (Susan) Moser, Syracuse,            Colleen L. (Dean) Anglemeyer, Wakarusa, Richard D. (Joni) Moser, Mishawaka;             grandchildren, Matthew L Moser, Andrew J. (Lindsey) Moser, Nathan C. (Katie) Moser, Aaron S. Moser, Brittni L. Anglemeyer, Jenna S. (Joel) Bowen, Taylor M. (Callie) Anglemeyer; step grandchildren, Mariah S. (Cameron) Shepherd, Matthew W. (Bella) Long; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Lester C. Moser, Carl L. Moser, both of Bremen; and sister, Carol M. Singleton, Bremen.

On behalf of his wife and family, we are confident he is now in the arms of His Lord and Savior.

Family and friends may call 1-4 and 6-8, Monday, October 25, 2021                                                                                    at Community Gospel Church, Bremen and for 1 hour prior to the 10:00 am  Funeral Service, Tuesday, October 26th also at Community Gospel Church.  Pastor Emilio Martino, Pastor Tom Jones and Rev. Jordan Muck will officiate.  Burial with Military graveside rites will be in Olive West Cemetery.

Not sure what to say?

Regrettfully we have taken notice of Art's death.
We remember art as a strong and lovingly person, for whom the family always played the most important role in his life. Luckily our daughter Steffi became part of this family during her exchange year in the US and Art became another grandfather for her. Since we met him the first time in 2001 it was always a pleasure to talk and listen to him during our later visits. He became a great friend and we will miss him a lot.
We will...

Mr. Moser did many great things. My dad, Raymond Hoffman, worked with him through the PHS Building Trades and always spoke highly of him. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for peace and comfort for the family.

Art was a great friend and brother in Christ. We worked together in the early '60s. We had many good times together. I will miss his smile and positive attitude towards life and overcoming impossible circumstances. Art and Carolyn really Shepherded my mother and she always looked forward to their visits. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort in your loss.

May God bless and comfort you now. I have the fondest memories of Art. Love, with our deepest sympathies,

Dear Carol and Family, we loved going to church and seeing his smiling, kind , and inviting face. He always had a kind word to say, and I loved talking with him about our families. I know he is in Paradise with our Savior and other loved ones.
God Bless, Lynn, Jeff and family

What a guy! He truly will be missed. I loved all the family get togethers we had as a child. xoxo

He was the best practical joker around AKA Mr Samson. God love ‘em

My ❤ To you all! So many fond memories of Art in my history with the building industry! God Bless!!
