The world has lost a saint.

My husband & I went to South Catholic High School and were in Fr. Murphy's Marriage class there. In June of 1972, he married us at St. Augustine's Church in Hartford--and we are still going strong! We were blessed to know him, and know that he will be sorely missed. Our sincerest condolences to all his family, and everyone fortunate enough to have been touched by his gentleness.

You will be sadly missed dearest Father Murphy!

The St. Hilaire Family

Our sincere condolences to the family of Father Murphy. He was the presider at my wedding and also at my father's funeral Mass at St. Thomas. I will always remember how caring he was at these significant events in my life. He will be deeply missed.

So many wonderful memories of Father Murphy and his kind and generous heart. He will be so missed.

The DeConti Family is here to remember the life of Fr. Murphy.
