Not sure what to say?

I remember Art as a wonderful, gregarious man who was very passionate about the grocery industry, very much a people person. I worked with him in the late 1980's when he was CEO for AppleTree in Houston. Decades later, when he was writing for Shelby Report I reached out to him and we continued correspondence regarding the industry. He was an inspiration to so many.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very nice Man.

Dear Art Patch's Family (Jane), I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved Art. He was not just a boss to me, but a mentor and a true leader. Since 1990´´s, his guidance and mentorship have played a significant role in shaping my career and personal growth. Art's leadership style was truly unique and inspiring. He had a way of bringing out the best in people and pushing them to reach their full potential. His wisdom and guidance have been invaluable to me throughout the...

Rest in Peace prayers for the family

Art was a great mentor boss and friend at Save Mart Supermarkets to me. I will miss his words of encouragement and his training he gave me to become a Stire Manager. He will be missed. I enjoyed talking to him about the business and 49er football. So sorry for this loss to his wife Jane a beautiful person as well. Rest in Peace.

A good man always respectful to us at the store level in Madera and at the Christmas parties and store tours. Bless his soul

He embodied Leadership which drove success in both business objective and, much more importantly, personal exceptionalism from those around him. Art was my mentor. He was my friend, He was my inspiration. I "mattered" to Art in a special way and that makes all the difference. Art had a special way of imbuing...
