Not sure what to say?

I am glad that Dr. Pava passed away at home peacefully. He was the neurosurgeon who saved my life by giving me a shunt for my hydrocephalus when i was 3 months old. I am 65 now. I am single and live with my caretaker in Webster Mass. Thank you deeply to him and his family. My parents were Marie and Russell Brady from Indian Orchard Mass. Thank you to him especially.

So sorry to hear of Dr. Pava's passing last year. I was one of his patients. He did 2 shunt surgeries on me. The first being 50 years ago, at age 4 - then at age 16. I will always appreciate all that he did for me.

Dear Liz and Susan,
I was saddened to hear of the recent loss of your Dad. We go back so many years. My thoughts are with you.

Fondly,
Lauren Schimmel

We are deeply concerned about the death of my friend Arthur.
I wish to see many such people on this earth, we'd have a better world.
In commemoration of him it would be better on a good and peaceful life to reflect, because he was a good role model for all of us.
So how will light the candle in our home for him he will have always a place in our hearts.
Dear ARTHUR, thank you for your love and friendship.

Your friend Götz Lukas and Petra with family and everyone...

I'm welling up as I read the comments. Uncle "Artie" was one in a million. He was generous, kind, witty, and a true gentleman. My family and I will miss him terribly.

Dear Susan, Elizabeth & Dieter,
I am so sorry to hear of your father/friend's passing. He was a wonderful man and equally wonderful employer. Unfortunately, I was his last secretary and didn't get to have many years with him but the years I had with him, leading up to his retirement were the best! As you may or may not know, he only had three secretaries during his career; very rare. He was absolutely the kindest man to work for and treated everyone with respect. I particularly loved...

We are all so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Pava, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Sending you my deepest sympathy, Sue, on the loss of your beloved father. Both of our dads are finally at peace; hopefully up there somewhere, sharing a drink and a story or two. Thinking of you and your family.

What I will always remember about Arthur -- as his former partner -- was his cheering 'envoi' to patients: "You've got a lot of good years left, kiddo"
