Pete Peterson 2012

Dear Lisa and Gary,

I am sending you my deepest sympathy at this time.

Laura Richardson sent you a photo taken by her dad, Bill, at the Hotel Del Coronado. From left to right are Pete & Carol, Emmy & Bob Sorth, Cecile MacIver, and Floyd & Ester Elder.

I took this picture of Pete in 2012.

I keep you close in my heart.

My thoughts

Pete and my dad Bill Richardson formed a lasting friendship during the Penn State years that carried through to each of their lives. If life is made rich by the friends you make and keep through your lifetime, Pete was a wealthy man. My Dad had the best memories of Pete and Carol. Always
Made him happy to remember times together. He spoke of them fondly. Rest peacefully.

Arthur Peterson was a quiet man of integrity and inner strength. He served his country with honor. Pete was a friend who could be counted on, and he had friends who cherished him from his earliest years. My Dad loved his buddy Pete, and the two of them made it through their time in the Tank Corps in Italy in 1946 - 1948 as two new-found friends from Pennsylvania. He built a good life for his family, and loved them very much. He worked hard to make the world better. He will be deeply missed...
