Not sure what to say?

I've known Art since I was 15 and lived next door to his family on Laguna. I admired him and knew he represented his family w/dignity and charm and our
world is at a loss. I hope you find peace & joy thru the eyes of your grandchildren. Tobie Packman Hupert.

Art was in my docent class. He always had a smile on his face and genteel way about him. Watching the two of you interact at various functions, you could definitely see the shared love. I am so sorry for you loss.

Dear Fran,
I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking with Art when we were both practicing law and again recently at the Holocaust Museum. He was a man who always had a kind word for others and a ready smile . My thoughts are with you,
Pat Simons

Dear Fran and family:

We send our deepest sympathy and condolences on Art's passing, and wanted you to know our thoughts are with you.

Ilene and I are out of town and unable to be with you, but we wanted you to know we are thinking about you.

Sincerely, Burt Follman

Many years later, when I was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Circuit Bench in Illinois in 1989, guess who took the time to travel to Illinois and surprise me at the swearing -in ceremony? I am truly grateful to have had Art for a mentor and friend, and will never...

Dear Fran,

We are so sorry to learn of Art's passing and will keep him and you and your family in our hearts. We wish you comfort in the days ahead and peace of mind as you remember the love, the joy, and the many years of shared contentment. We will be out of town on Sunday but will be with you in spirit at Art's funeral both in grief and in celebration of his many accomplishments in life.

With heartfelt condolences,

Margaret and Martin Israel
