Arthur Pursel Sr.

I enjoyed Art as a friend and classmate in our BHS 60 class. Our senior year we had a contest and Art and I were the class selections for the "Best Dressed!" He was always fun to be around and had a lot of friends. His light blue eyes and dark hair i always thought were a special combination! Rest in Peace, Art, and know you made a lot of memories for us. My sixth grade teacher. A friend of the family. A part time baseball coach. Mr Pursel taught me to love reading. He was always available early evenings for a quick tutor session whenever needed. Always just a quick phone call from mom or dad, and down the street I went. Always returning with a clear understanding of what I was previously unsure of. So sorry for your loss Bonnie. I´m glad I got to visit with you and Art at Mr Klines house recently.

My son had Art at Camp Hill, PA. He was a sweet man that helped his student. May his family have peace during this sad time.

Just read of the passing of Art. He was a wonderful mentor, friend, teacher, paint (in the summer) partner. We shared many teaching experiences together and we always talked about our families. My thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie, Art Jr., and David. May he RIP. Mike Cushner (Camp Hill Speech Clinician).
