Art and I graduated from St. James High School, Haverhill, Mass., June 6, 1954. At the annual High School Science Fair, Art and I tied for First Place! He made a Tesla Coil, and demonstrated how a fluorescent light bulb would light when brought up to it, but not touching the coil. It looked like MAGIC at the time! I demonstrated how the brakes of an automobile worked, using a cut away model of a brake shoe, borrowed from the local Trade School . We would later see each other at High School...
