Arthur L. Sales, Sr., age 65, of Council Bluffs, passed away on April 26, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Omaha, Neb.

He was born on June 29, 1947, to the late Herbert and Gertrude (McIntosh) Sales. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. Art owned and operated his own Auto Repair Shop. He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church and American Legion Rainbow Post #2.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 11 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by 2 sons, Arthur Sales Jr. and Phil Sales, both of Council Bluffs; 5 grandchildren, Fishy, Alex, Nikki and Brittney Sales and Debbi Ollie; 2 brothers, Rex and Phyllis Sales, of Council Bluffs; Bob and Debra Sales, of Omaha; 5 sisters, Betty and Harold Morris, of Oklahoma, Beatrice and Chub Waldren, of Iowa, Alma Clatterbuck, of Calif., Janice Case, of Iowa. Lola and Larry Alley, of Calif.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial Hazel Dell Cemetery, with Military Honors by American Legion Rainbow Post #2. Family will direct memorials.
