Arthur was born on April 13, 1933 and passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019. He had attended local schools and was a graduate of The Gilbert School, class of 1952. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, worked for several years for the State of Connecticut highway department and retired from the Maintenance Department with the Winchester Public Schools after 27 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM, December 10, 2019, at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Winsted. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Cemetery in Winsted, Memorial contributions may be made to the Foothills Visiting Nurse & Home Care at 32 Union Street, Winsted, CT 06098. My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Artie all of my adult life. When I was 13 one of his friends, my cousin Sonny Nanni introduced us.
Art was one of Winsted's best. RIP both.
