My first memory was driving from Churchville, PA to Everett MA. My father would take Friday and Monday's off, and they would pack my two brothers and me into the Ford wagon, and start the 8 hour drive. We would do this 3 or 4 times a summer, and these trips continued when we moved from PA to outside Saugerties NY.

I have fond memories of Great Uncle Arthur and always said he was so kind and so pleasant to talk to. He was proud of the children when he spoke about them. I had taken many pictures for him from Louisdale where he was born including the home he was born in. I only regret he did not have a chance to see them. My thoughts are with you all. My mother was Gertrude Sampson (Landry)she was his niece.
