Not sure what to say?

Art lived in our Westerville home while attending Otterbein. Although I was only 5, he managed to entertain us kids with his "How do you do, and how are you? I am fine, thank you," which he delivered after contorting his face and talking in a strange manner. I knew that he received his PHD and was president of Albright College during the 70s. I even applied for a Mathematics teaching position there in 1968, but was told I needed a doctorate. I learned recently that he returned to Otterbein as...

Char and family,
I wanted to send a word of support to you and your family. Hope you are doing well. Best Wishes.

My dear Mrs. Schultz, I want to express my sincere sympathy on the passing of your husband, Dr. Art Schultz. I first remember meeting with Dr. Schultz in Zeta Phi fraternity at Otterbein, and then being with him again on the faculty of Albright College. I will never forget his love for you, for his church, and for God. He became my mentor and led me into the ministry. His generosity and grace were evident to all. May you find comfort and peace in the beautiful legacy Dr. Schultz left,...

Dear Louise: I graduated from Otterbein College in 1964, and that summer I worked for Dr. Schultz and the Admissions Office visiting E.U.B. youth camps in Ohio, Western Pa., West Virginia, and New York. Under his direction, I continued this work visiting high schools in Ohio during my first year at United Theological Seminary. I will always remember his kindness, encouragement and effervescent spirit as I prepared for pastoral ministry. Gratefully in Christ,

Not only did I attend Otterbein during the 1960's, I also worked for Otterbein in the Busines Office. This afforded me the opportunity to get to know all of the faculty and staff. Authur was a kind man, always considerate of others. He will be missed.

May I add my sorrow at the loss of your father and grandfather. This lovely obituary demonstrates why your family was always so kind, generous, and supportive of me as I taught the kids at Walnut Springs. You had a great partriarch. My affection to you at this difficult time.

Im sorry to hear about Art;s passing. Many times when I was in the hospital and he would come and visit. His calm and soothing voice always made me feel a little better. He will be missed

The few years I worked with Art at Church of the Messiah are ones that I'll always remember and cherish especially his sense of humor. I am truly sorry for your loss and extend my heartfelt sympathy to all of you during this time of sorrow.

I grew with Mr Schultz next door and will never forget his wonderful sense of humor and zest for life. Schultz family, I wish I could be there with you. I will miss him but know that he is at peace now
