Art, you will be so missed! I didn't get the honor of you being in my life long. But the time you were, was always happy memories. God knew I needed your smiles twice a week. and he sent me you. Thank you for all those smiles you gave.

We are saddened to hear of Art's passing. We have many great memories through his involvement in Rotary. Our thoughts are with you Liz, Scott, Melanie and Family.

Mr. Smith was the principal of Kinnelon High School who interviewed and hired me for my first and only career job...a personable --classy--professional--friendly man who knew how to lead and bring out the best in everyone...it was a pleasure having known him...

Scott,Mel,and Liz. Rosemarie and I are so saddened to hear of Art's passing. We have so many wonderful memories through the years. Trips to the shore, hotly contested tennis matches, super bowl Sundays and many other great times . We have lost a great friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

As a former KHS student, I was truly saddened to hear the news of Art's passing. My sincere condolences to the Smith family. May you find the comfort in the days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathies to Class of '75 classmate Scott Smith and his entire family on their loss. Art Smith set the standard for what a superintendent should be. He was personable, approachable and always acted in the best interests of High Point and its students. Some people earn respect simply because of the position that they hold. Art Smith earned it because of the kind of person that he was. Our lives are all richer for knowing him.
