Not sure what to say?

Dear Friends--Win, Grant, Wade, Sara, and Jay, you're in our thoughts and conversation. We have beautiful reminders--in works by Arthur on several walls of our house--of special memories of being next door to you in Appleton! -Heatons

In his print-making courses, but I think more in his Art Methods couse...for aspiring teachers...he was able to kindle a fire that burns decades later..beyond my teaching career. Arthur is an inspiration to us in how he lived, how he did his art, how he shared his love and knowledge. We will always miss him, but we see his heart in his painting for us over our fireplace every day.

What a talented, gracious, generous and patient gentleman and teacher he was. I will always remember him looking over my shoulder at my work and judiciously saying, simply, "Think about it". He prompted me to think a great deal! He was the finest and most influential teacher in my life. Like so many, I was truly blessed to be his student.
My sympathies to Win and all of his family.

Our sympathies to Arthur's brothers, Al, Robert, and Bill, who we know, love, and look up to from our association with them over the years at Wauwatosa Bible Chapel.
