Not sure what to say?

Way back in 1978 and 1979 , when I attended Classical High School in Springfield, I spent a good deal of time at Travis Auto School. I learned how to drive there, but more than that, Art was a kind, gentle, funny, friend to the many high school kids who passed through his office. We could stop by any time and we're always welcomed with a smile, a joke and other kids hanging out and listening to stories and comical ditties by Art! When I missed the deadline to get my Senior pictures taken...

Farewell to a good and helpful friend from the whole staff at O´Brien´s Corners, Springfield. A special thanks and farewell from his old National Guard friend Rex Cunningham.

Jean, I am so saddened to hear of Art´s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. Art was a good person he will be missed. To Arthur and Lisa, please accept my condolences. Your dad was the best catcher I ever pitched to when we played ball as kids and I threw a lot of junk balls to him during our games! Mark Deshais Port Richey Florida

I sat next to Arthur at Springfield Technical Community College when were both taking computer courses. He was so friendly and talkative; very easy to get along with. I am very sad to hear of his passing. I hope his family and loved ones find comfort in the wonderful memories they have of Arthur.

My condolences to Arts family...As one of his classmates from Technical High School it is always sad to learn of one's passing. However, in reading Arts Obituary I believe Arthur Travis lived a wonderful Journey here on Earth and filled his hearts desire. Before leaving us on yet another Heavenly Adventure. God Bless my Friend.

I was a studens of Arthur about 6 years ago. He left an impression on me and I think of him time to time. Especially, when I am driving and I do not use my turn signals. HaHa. I am truely sorry for your loss.
