Not sure what to say?

I had so many good times with SFC Tyree. We shared an office together at Fort Meade, Md. He touched so many people. He was a man that lived everyday of his life. He still lives in so many hearts today...God Bless you My Friend & Rest in Peace.

I am at a lost for words. Tyree was a dear friend that I have been trying to contact for years. We met at Redstone Arsenal in 1990. The memories that I have of Tyree only bring a smile to my face. Plain and simple Tyree was my dog! My prayers go out to the Tyree family, especially Lisa, Katina and Karen. He was such a pleasure to be around. I just found out today about his death doing a internet search. My heart is breaking over this news. Tyree is truly a friend that can never be replaced. I...

Dearest Tyree Family,

Truly I was saddened to hear the news of Arthur for he holds a special place in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Arthur will be remembered primarily for God's light that shined brightly from the inside out and his beautiful smile. May God bless all who mourn for we shall be comforted. In closing, to his wife, children, mother, father, and siblings know that God is healing you!

Lynn and I joined the Army together in 1987 and were Battle buddies in basic training. I called him in 2007 to plan a re-union together. We never had a chance to see each other, but we were still connected. I do feel reluctant but he will always be my Battle buddy!

To Tyree's Family:
I received word this morning of our loss. Those who remember me, know that I am rarely at a loss for words. Tyree used to say that I talked too much, for a white boy! I was stationed with Ty at Redstone in Huntsville, and had the pleasure of meeting his family when I drove him home to pick up his car. You all made me feel like part of your family, and I knew right away why Tyree was always on the square. He came from a great family and always showed compassion for...

To The Family of The Late Arthur Tyree, Jr.:

I'm so very sorry for your...our lost. I, too, remember Arthur from Fluvanna. He made so many people laugh and smile all of the time. He was truly a great guy. RIP Arthur!

Words can not express the sorrow that my heart feels. Tyree has and always will hold a special place in my heart. His smile and his joyful personality will always be remembered. My prayers are with his family during these trying times.
