Arthur J. Voellinger

My father, George Gifford,was two years older but he and Mr. Voellinger were good friends in their youth. In his latter years, whenever he refered to Mr. Voellinger his remarks were always very complimentary. He admired him throughout his life. I have the impression there was a real mutual admiration between the two men. I am my father's only child. I was born in Belleville in 1941 and lived there until 1966. The name of Art Voellinger rings clearly in my memories of my father's best...
