Not sure what to say?

Dear Katie and families,

Twice during my youth, +Arthur served as an interim at St. James, Milwaukee my home parish. In addition to his academic ability his warmth and pastoral style were very much appreciated particularly by a youth who had recently lost his father. He was truly a pastor and role model. I remain appreciative of his presence in my life.
You certainly have my prayers and affection.

Dear Katie and Family,
It was a privilege to know Bishop Vogel for 30 years. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I will miss him! I always enjoyed his visits to the barber shop.

We send our prayers and support to you along with Thanksgiving for the wonderful life and legacy Bishop Vogel gave to all who knew him. Grace and John Obetz

Bp. Vogel was the one to whom I tendered my resignation as librarian at Nashotah House, when he was provost there. It was a trying time there, but he was always one of the most gracious human beings I have ever met.

Dear Katie and your families, I was so sorry to hear today that your husband died and I didn't know about it till today..for I certainly would of been there Sat. for his service. He was a wonderful man. I enjoyed my dinners with both of you at Bishop Spencers. We both have lost 2 great men. I'm thinking of you and have you in my prayers. With love, Jane Matson

My mother and I have wonderful memories of Bishop Vogel. My mother said he always asked about my brother and me, by name, every time they saw each other. Our heartfelt condolences to his family on the loss of such a wonderful man.
