Dear Delilah, Tim, and my Texas Wade family,

Sara's and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Art (Sr.), James, and Wm Slaughter Wade are like Abraham, Isaac, and Jaccob to me. They are the three patriarchs of the Wade family, which is my family.

I feel so privileged to have gotten to know Art, Jr. through the Wade family reunions. Not only did I find Art to be a warm, wonderful person, he was to me a living "legend" and a direct link with the Wade storied...

Lori and I feel truly blessed to have met Art at the Cousins reunion in 2011. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Delilah, Tim, Bill and all the Texas Wades, what wonderful memories we have of Art and all of you at our Cousins Reunions in New Harmony, Indiana. Art's stories and love of that part of the country enriches us all. We will miss him this Memorial Day, but he will be part of us in a special way.

Delilah, we were so sorry to hear about Art. I didn't know he had passed until Shelley said she saw the cars at the house. If there's anything Mike or I can do to help you in any way please let us know. We're just behind you and all you have to do is call.
