Mrs. Wallingford and Family,

I just want to extend my condolences on the passing of Dr. Wallingford. He was my mother's OB-GYN after Dr. Jim Furlong (who delivered all five of us) retired in the late 1980s, and I remember him from when your family attended St. Catherine of Siena Church (now The Parish of Mater Christi) in Albany.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Dr. Wallingford. I met him in 1975 when I was 31 and became ill very suddenly. He had to perform an emergency hysterectomy. His kind nature and bedside manner meant a lot to me and my family at that difficult time. I am forever grateful for his surgical expertise and am so fortunate that he was my wonderful doctor!

Dr. Wallingford was a very special physician whom I met while pregnant for my first child in 1988. I could not have been in better hands and I adored both he and his wonderful wife. They were an amazing team! May beautiful and funny memories bring smiles to your faces! You now have a guardian angel in heaven look over you!
