Arthur R. Weaver, Jr., 66, of Easton, PA, passed away Sunday, February 15th, at Manorcare Nursing Home. Arthur was born in Easton, PA on February 19, 1948, the son of the late Arthur R. and Irene Ruth (Weidman) Weaver, Sr. He was the husband of Loretta Mae (Repsher) Weaver, they were married 30 years this past October. Arthur was employed as a supervisor at Knoll of East Greenville, PA., until retiring. He was a 1966 graduate of Bangor High School. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. as a Gunnery Sgt. He was a member of St. Jane's Catholic Church in Easton, PA. Arthur was also a former member of the East Bangor United Methodist Church, and an Eagle Scout of Troop 41. In addition to his wife Loretta, Arthur is survived by a daughter, Sarah Weaver; four sons, John Weaver and his wife Mary; George Mackenzie; Perry Weaver and his wife Lisa; Joseph Weaver and his wife Danielle; a sister, Alice Brickler; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at East Bangor United Methodist Church, 136 W. Central Ave., East Bangor, PA, at 11am on Saturday, February 28th. Burial will be held in East Bangor Cemetery, East Bangor, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA.

Dad, It's taken me nearly 5 years to do this. You were a good man and a great father. Although, we had our rocky times, we were always best buddies. I miss you now, more than ever. Dad, if only I could talk with you again, to get the crazy text message from you at 3am about something you found on craigslist, to just give you a hug... I have so much I'd like to say to you... starting with I miss you and love you. And maybe, just maybe, you were right about a lot more than I gave you...
