Not sure what to say?

I'm not sure if you will see this but I'm Your cousin Greg's wife, Their Dad Richard died this week so we were looking up something for Edna Weidman and saw that your Dad had passed in June. Please accept our condolences. Your mom always sent us a card at Christmas so that was how we had a little connection. We are sorry for your loss, of both your parents. It seems that it is the end of a generation for us. Sincerely, Cathy Smith

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My brother Tony, who has also passed away, was Red's sub for over 2 years when Red was a Rural Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Tony always said that Red taught him how to be careful with the mail and to do the job to the best of his abilities. My husband and I both worked at the Postal Service also and had the pleasure of working with Red on occasion. We always appreciated his sense of humor and his laugh. Our condolences to the family.

Red the Major of Deer Heaven you will be greatly missed! We can only imagine you are dancing with Betty late into the morning hours, which brings joy to our memories and soften the loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Betty and your family.

Our hearts will miss our favorite Mayor of Deer Haven, Red Weidman! We know he is once again dancing with his favorite partner and they are tearing up heaven together!! Prayers are offered for healing for the entire family!

Red, you will be missed. My condolences to your family. We had wonderful times together down at The Blue Star. Now you can dance with Jean again there in heaven. I know it's been difficult these last few years, but now you and Jean can be together in eternity. God bless you and your family.

Red and Jean were always the best couple on the dance floor. It was at the Brooklyn Club dancing to the music of Randy Garibay that I first met them. Rest in Peace.
