Not sure what to say?

Ron
I never met your father, but you've talked about him on many occassions and I feel as though I new him and your mother. You and your family have my condolences. God be with you, always!

To the Rev. Dr. Arthur L Whitaker family,

This is very sad news in deed, and I wish to express my deepest condolences. I spent a number of Sundays lay leading with him when he was the guest minister at the historic First Baptist Church of Boston. His sermons and war related stories were heartfelt & poetic. He made me feel proud to be an American...more importantly an African American. I will miss his kind words and smile, but we know he is now walking in greeener
pastures. Warmest...

Aunt Virginia, Ronald,Paul,Mark, and Keith, words cannot express how much Uncle Arthur meant to myself and my family. Remembering all the wonderful times we shared together and all of the most important days in my life that Rev. Whitaker officiated at, marriage, births, christenings what a wonderful man he will be in my heart always and i will hold you all in my prayers with deepest sympathy and love, Michele

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the Whitaker Family. As a new comer to Haverhill(Calvary Baptist Church) in the early 60's I first heard the name.A.L.Whitaker Guild. Many years later I had the honor to meet Rev. Whitaker when he came to Calvary to support the rebuilding of the church after the fire.

To the ARTHUR L.Whitaker Family, I cannot express the sadness that I feel with the passing of your Father. It is like a whole generation of wonderful people who have left us for a better place and we continue to miss all of them so very much. Sympathy and Condolences to you all.

Mrs. Whitaker, Ronald, Paul, Mark and Keith:

Dear Virginia:
Several months ago the Spirit lead me to contact Arthur since we had not conversed since the transition of my mother, Ophelia Jackson of
Everett.
We discussed family, friends and
recounted happy events in our lives
that took place over the years.
He was cheerful as always and upbeat
with his friendly demeanor.
I am unable to come home at this time but be assured that I am with you in Spirit and mourn the passing of a true lifelong friend and brother in...
