FRED FIELDS THANKSGARY.

Our family knew Artie for so many years, it's hard to count. We own The Bomber on McLoughlin in Milwaukie and Artie joined us for his bowl of oatmeal and great stories on a daily basis. Artie dressed impeccibly and was the consumate gentleman. In fact, I always pointed him out to my boys and said "thats how a gentleman looks and acts". We'll miss him a lot and our blessings go out to his family who were so kind to bring him in to see us when they were in town.

Artie was a member of my extended family. He sold cars with my father (Melton Knode) for years at Gary-Worth. Artie was never too busy to stop and chat. He was the consummate gentleman and one of my favorite people in the world. I will miss him forever. Ever on Artie my dear.

I first met Artie and played golf with him at the Children's Course in Gladstone while having my car serviced at Gary Worth's. We did this a few times when he was able to get away and had a great time playing and getting to know each other. These memories will last forever, and I know he's now playing golf with the greatest Pro on earth.
