Arthur “Junior” Yeager, 70, of Rt. 3, Clarksburg went to be with the Lord Monday, May 2, 2005 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born August 25, 1934, a son of the late Arthur Yeager and Julia Wagner Yeager. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Jean Finch Yeager on June 12, 2003. Mr. Yeager is survived by one son, Gary Yeager and wife Debbie of Clarksburg; one daughter, Cherie Leary and husband Mike of New Jersey; two step daughters, Paula Pritt and husband Albert of Spelter and Rebecca Murray and husband Harold of Lumberport; two step sons, Gary Finch and companion Patty Anderson of Lamberts Run and Jim Finch and companion Rhonda Blosser of Meadowbrook; four grandchildren, Corey Lee Yeager Lahalli Paige Yeager, Lisa Marie Yeager, and Kaitlyn Leary; step grandchildren Jason and wife Kristen of Lumberport, Jesse Pritt and wife Shonda of Enterprise, Rhonda Murray and companion Eric Vincent of Shinnston, Paul Murray of Lumberport, Helen Bratcher and husband Bruce of Jacksonville, FL, Kayla Finch of Lamberts Run, Amber Finch of Hepzibah, Josh Finch of Doddridge County Josh Menendez Finch of Spelter, Sandy Finch of Doddridge County, Mandy Finch of Clarksburg; Arthur Finch of Shinnston and James Finch Jr. of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews; fourteen great grandchildren; one uncle, Harrison Yeager of Coultersville, CA; five brothers, Bill Yeager and wife Jesse of Clarksburg, Roger Yeager and wife Dora of Lumberport, Chuck Yeager of Lumberport, Joe Yeager and wife Mary of Gypsy, and Gene Yeager and wife Heather of Gypsy; two sisters, Virginia Elene McVehil and companion Harold Appleton of Bridgeport and Helen Goodwin and husband Junior of Lamberts Run; four brothers-in law, Donnie Newbrough and wife Joyce of Lumberport, Danny Newbrough and wife Rita of Gypsy, Bud Newbrough of Gypsy, and Mike Newbrough and wife Donna of Gypsy; one sister- in-law, Linda White of Fairmont; one son-in- law, Russ Yambrick of Clarksburg. He had a very special friend Tony Fernendez of Lamberts Run. He was loved by all and he was a great body man and mechanic all his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his four wheeler. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Church He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Yambrick, several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Family and friends may call at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike Street, Shinnston, from 2-9pm, Wednesday, May 4, 2005 where services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2005 at11:00 am, with the Pastor Darren Powell and the Reverend Lonnie Vincent officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.legacy.com.
