Losing a loved one.....we gain an angel in heaven. I know Mecia loved her family, she often talked about your accomplishments and foibles - always with love and humor. There's no doubt in my mind she'll be watching over you and doing the same from that heavenly vantage point. When we worked together, I could always count on her to boil a situation down to basics and know just what to do, while putting it into perspective with a wry or funny remark.

To my little sister, Mecia. You may have lost the battle but you won the war. Your life was a testament to overcoming struggles, pushing forward no matter the obstacles thrown in your path. You had strength and power you never even knew you had. I was always proud to call you sister and though you now rest with the angels, you will live in our hearts till the end of time. I love you little sister.Lynn
