Not sure what to say?

So sad to find out Arturo passed. I remember him from Ann Arbor High School as such a great guy. My condolences to his family.

I only met Art a few times - first at his and Rebecca's wedding and then at other McKenna weddings or reunions but I remember him always with a great smile and a warm handshake. He always attemped to remember names which is quite a chore with the size of the McKenna clan. I feel very comforted to know he is in heaven offering all of us help here on earth.

Rebecca, Brenton and Morgan - I'm sorry I wasn't able to make contact with you during Art's illness. You and he were always...

my dad was a great man and i know that he will be missed we have many great memories of him and you all comin out means u cared alot about him and not just to me but to my family also and of course who could forget the lovebable man himself dad i miss him as we all do he had a great mind i even remember when he told me about the time when on his honeymoon he brought a calculus (i hope i spelled that correctly) book he said he was getting rusty =] wow talk about devotion he was always...

I lost a part of my heart when Art passed away. That's OK, though, as that part was made for my bother Art. He was everything everyone else here said, and more. To me he was friend, confidante, colleague, but most important a member of my family. I had the privilege of knowing many sides of this extraordinary man. My life was made better by him, in innumerable ways. Even in dying, Art showed us all the "way". His grace, dignity, and empathy made me weep on numerous occasions.

I...

I had met Art on several occassions-usually during a BIG McKenna reunion. What really stands out to me is that he always had a great smile. It seems(after reading many of these entries) that he lived his life with grace and dignity and was an inspiration to so many. It is apparent that he left this world with the same grace and dignity. His death is bittersweet, as anyone who has ever been touched by cancer will know. Talk about him often and relish in the wonderful memories that he helped to...

Art Mack was truely a unique individual. He amazed me all the time. It is hard to believe one person could retain so much knowledge but he always had the answer. The memories I have of my last visit to the Mack home when Art was still on earth, I will always treasure. I had the privilege to share some quality moments with Art, Reb, Brenton, and Morgan and they will stick with me until someday when I hope to meet up with Art and other loved ones who achieved their ultimate goal before I did....

Uncle Art was a great impact on me, he was always there for me, we would always joke around, and best of all his great bear hugs. I always remember coming to New Jersey or they would come to Illinois and everytime i see him i always got that bear hug that i always wanted. He was one of the smartest man alive and always had that heart warming touch. Everyone will always Love Uncle Art no matter what and will never be forgotten. It still feels like he is here just standing right next to me. He...

Art is a very special person. He has brought us a lifetime of memories in the twenty odd years that he has been part of our family. He will always be remembered with a twinkle in his eye and a way to make you smile. He has made my sister very happy throughout their life together and for this I am eternally grateful. He has brought me a very special nephew and niece who are delights to see grow up. Each of them reflect their father so much. Art will always be with us in his family and in the...

Not sure how I can put my thoughts about Art into words. His affect on my life and the lives of my family is immeasurable. From his jovial, always kidding spirit, to his intelligence that amazed me every time I talked with him, he was a great friend as well as a Brother-in-Law. I have many memories of family reunions, games of euchre, he and Rebecca driving Cheryl and I through Manhattan when we were too nervous to do it ourselves. In many ways he was always looking out for others, and at the...
